Customer Perspective: Cash Can Grow on Trees

A satisfied customer in California: We've been in the business of growing things for more than 50 years. We started out in California, but now we have customers across the country – everything from mom-and-pop shops, to garden centers and nurseries, to big-box retailers.

There are two main pieces to our business. One is the traditional lawn and garden business. We delivery basically anything you need for landscaping your front or back yard. The other part of the business is building consolidated shipments from about 62 different manufacturers for Home Depot. We consolidate those orders into one shipment, so one truck is backing up to Home Depot, instead of 62.

We've found it works best if Reddaway is handling things. Making smart transportation decisions with Reddaway helps us grow our business and manage our costs.

Reddaway has been our primary shipping partner for years. Most of our shipments – gardening and landscape supplies, fertilizers, plants and pottery – move overnight or second-day. There's never any time to waste. We need every pickup and delivery to happen on time, especially during the busy planting season. Gardeners shop on the weekends, and if our products aren't available then, they'll go somewhere else to find them. We trust Reddaway to handle the pressure.

That trust has been built up over the years. We know we can rely on Reddaway for a clean, error-free, non-damaged shipment. We also expect our transportation providers to give us what we offer – incredible service. We make every effort to be the best supplier in the lawn and garden business, and we want providers with the same dedication. Reddaway hasn't let us down yet.

Our Reddaway team is fantastic – and that includes everyone from the drivers to the sales support. We like to think we're the only customer out there. Reddaway makes that easy, because they treat us that way. It's true professionalism. They're out there to do one thing: take care of our needs.
